Sachin Tendulkar -- A Living Legend??

Hi folks,

Cricket India is filled with speculation as to "is Sachin Tendulkar's time up?". "Does he need to retire". Cricket is a religion in India but are the people or the audience fair enough to all the legends produced by India.

Is that the likes of Sourav, Sachin who may not have been in their best of forms to be labeled as people who cannot "contribute" after all that has been done by these people.

Not that I am the biggest fan of Sachin nor am I a fan of Sourav, but what makes me think is the treatment every sports person receives in India, and not just limited to cricket.

Back to Sachin.... now that he has left for a surgery ... people say that it was deliberate attempt to keep him out of the ODI series and the surgery was just a shelter for him so that people or rather the die hard fans do not take to bad means.

Does a person with the best statistics in the world, qualify for the unjustifiable treatement/words he is receving?

I was an ardent fan of Md. Azharuddin, but the match fixing episode took me far away from cricket. But then things do happen we tend to justify our feelings and then compromise ..... but can we a lose a legend on just our feelings .... cant we all stand in support for each and every Indian sportsperson as one "United India". Be it Sachin, Sourav or Anju George or Kunjurani or Sania or Dhanraj Pillai or even the "not so" legendary people but have the potential of being one for eg. Kaif, Dhoni, Yuvraj, there are many who go on the list in various sports area.

These are my feelings my love towards my country "India". Why dont we hold our "tri-colour" up in honour?

Long live India.....

Comments please.....

Sports lover .........
